Nutra Mulch is our special blend of hardwood mulch that is frequently used in gardens or wooded areas. Nutra mulch is made from decomposed tree trimmings, horse manure, and other wood by-products that are added to aid in the product's nutritional value.
As the product nears composting, it is tub ground into an A grade texture with 2" screens. This product is great for covering a large area at a minimal cost! Nutra Mulch should be applied 2" to 3" in depth.
Hardwood mulch will naturally generate heat due to the microorganisms inside the mulch. If your mulch is either hot to the touch or has a distinct smell, you must let it air out and cool down. PLEASE DO NOT PLACE MULCH DIRECTLY AGAINST FOLIAGE, ANNUAL, OR PERENNIAL PLANTS. Thoroughly water mulch immediately after application.
