With its large size, #2 Limestone is usually used as a base for a road or driveway with #530s compacted over the top. This product should not be put on top of an existing driveway unless it is below grade. To re-coat your driveway, most people use either #53s or #8s. This product should be applied 2" to 3" in depth.
